As of January 2019, the Canadian Red Cross, in partnership with leading training organizations such as Brampton First Aid CPR, transitioned to offering the Basic Life Support (BLS) course, which has replaced the previous CPR Level HCP (Healthcare Provider) course. This update reflects the latest advancements in life-saving techniques and provides a more comprehensive approach to emergency care.

Course Overview:

  • Duration: 4 hours
  • 🚫 Availability:
    • The BLS course is not available in conjunction with Standard First Aid courses for the general public.
  • 🏢 Private Group Sessions:
    • Custom sessions are available for groups requiring both Standard First Aid and BLS training, with a minimum of 8 participants.

Certification Validity
