Blended Learning: Online and In-Class Training for CPR Certification
Brampton First Aid CPR offers a Blended Learning Program that combines the flexibility of online training with the effectiveness of in-class instruction. This approach allows participants to complete part of the course content online at their own pace, followed by an in-class session to apply what theyβve learned.
Program Structure:
- π Self-Paced Online Training:
- Complete approximately 2 hours of online modules at your convenience before attending the in-class session.
- π« In-Class Instruction:
- A 3-hour practical session focused on skill development and applying theoretical knowledge in real-life scenarios.

Blended Course Process
Blended Learning Course Details and Policies
Upon registration, participants will receive online access to course content within 1 business day via email from the Canadian Red Cross. Please review the following key details and policies:
Course Details:
- π Online Course Duration: Approximately 3 hours of self-paced online training.
- β³ Completion Timeline: The online portion must be completed before attending the in-class session. It cannot be finished more than 30 days prior to your scheduled in-class date.
- β Non-Completion Policy: If the online training is not completed by the class start date, participants will not be allowed to attend the in-class session. No refunds or transfers will be provided.
- βοΈ Final Booking: Once online access has been granted, all bookings are considered final.
- π Certificate Requirement: Participants must bring a printed or digital copy (PDF, etc.) of their online completion certificate to the in-class session for instructor verification.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
- π Changes or Rescheduling: Must be made at least 2 days before the course start date.
- π΅ Cancellation Fee: A $25.00 + HST administrative fee will apply for cancellations or rescheduling of blended training courses.
