Online First Aid & CPR Training (Blended Course) – Registration and Certification Process

Participants will be registered online and will receive detailed instructions on how to access the online course through the Canadian Red Cross portal.

Course Structure and Certification:

  • Online Modules:
    • Each module of the course is designed to ensure you fully understand the subject matter, with a module examination at the end of each section.
  • Temporary Certificate:
    • Upon successful completion of the online modules, participants will receive a temporary certificate from the Canadian Red Cross, which is valid for 90 days.
  • WSIB Approved Certificate:
    • If you require a WSIB-approved certificate, you will need to attend an in-class session to complete the hands-on portion of the training. This in-class session will finalize your certification and ensure full compliance with WSIB requirements.

Online Portion Completion and In-Class Session

  • Online Training: The online portion of the Standard First Aid & CPR course, which takes approximately 8 hours, must be completed prior to attending your in-class session.
  • In-Class Session Notification: You will receive a notification from the Brampton First Aid CPR team with details regarding your upcoming in-class date.

Please ensure that you complete the online portion well in advance of the in-class session to fully prepare and fulfill the course requirements.
